As Singham Again, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 premiere actors Arjun Kapoor, Kartik Aaryan seek blessings at Siddhivinayak temple

Bollywood is abuzz as two major films, Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, clash at the box office today. Both films are highly anticipated franchise entries with substantial fan followings and star-studded casts. As part of their pre-release ritual, Arjun Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan were spotted at Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai, seeking blessings from Lord Ganesha.

Both Arjun Kapoor and Kartik Aaryan were spotted seeking blessings at Siddhivinayak Temple as their films Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 premiere today. Arjun Kapoor, who takes on the role of the antagonist in Singham Again, arrived at the temple dressed in a traditional kurta, walking barefoot as he paid his respects. Videos of the actor in his elegant ivory-hued outfit making his way into and out of the temple after his darshan have circulated widely on social media.

Shortly thereafter, Kartik Aaryan arrived at Siddhivinayak in a light blue shirt and white pants. He came to seek blessings for his role as Rooh Baba in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Kartik first portrayed this character in the hit Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 released in 2022. It further heightened the anticipation for this sequel.

Arjun’s Preparation for his Role in Singham Again

In a recent interview, Arjun shared that he took nearly a year away from the limelight to immerse himself in his character. He will be playing Danger Lanka for Singham Again. He expressed, “I had the biggest film in the industry to shoot, and I didn’t want to be distracted. Sometimes, going missing for a bit can help people remember you and see you in a new light.”

He detailed his focus, stating, “I just switched off to prepare for my character. I approached this with the mindset of treating it like my debut all over again.”

The third instalment of the Singham franchise boasts an impressive ensemble. It has Ajay Devgn as Bajirao Singham, Ranveer Singh as Simmba, and Akshay Kumar as DCP Veer Sooryavanshi. The film also features Kareena Kapoor as Singham’s wife Avni, and Deepika Padukone as police officer Shakti Shetty. Rohit Shetty’s 5th film in the cop universe has Ravi Kishan, Jackie Shroff, and Tiger Shroff completing the star cast.

Kartik Aaryan has reprised his character of Rooh Baba from the second instalment. He will be seen alongside Triptii Dimri, the OG Manjulika (Vidya Balan), and her partner in crime, Madhuri Dixit. Directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Bhushan Kumar.

As Singham Again and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 hit theatres, fans are eager to see how both films perform at the box office.
